Notable Milestones
- Solicited the community for funds to acquire a Mosque cum Community Center for the refugees.
- Through a grant from Center for Disease Control (CDC), for three (5) consecutive years, Salaam Cleveland partnered with Asian Services in Action Inc (ASIA Inc.) in a program to improve community- health through a life style of healthy diet, exercise and sports.
- Salaam Cleveland has arranged seminars to educate the community on domestic violence. This was in partnership with ASIA Inc. on a grant from North East Ohio Asian women Leadership Initiative (NALI).
- Salaam Cleveland has been hosting two (2) health fairs for the undeserved community since 2009 through grants from Ohio Commission on Minority Health.
